Cardinal Council of Garden Clubs
of Kentucky
Welcome to
the website of the Cardinal Council of Kentucky
Garden Clubs located in Bowling Green, Warren,
County, Kentucky. There are four garden clubs in the
Cardinal Council:
Bowling
Green Garden Club organized in 1934 and federated in
1935.
Two
Creeks Garden Club organized in 1988 and federated
in 1989
Warren
East Garden Club organized in 1992 and federated in
1993.
Glasgow
Garden Club organized in 1933 and federated in 1937, joined the Cardinal Council in the spring of
2019.
Several other garden clubs
were members of the Cardinal Council. See the

The
Cardinal Council is a member of:

National Garden Clubs, Inc.
The
Garden Club of Kentucky
The
Dogwood District of Kentucky Garden Clubs
The
South Atlantic Region of National Garden Clubs which is
composed of Kentucky,
North Carolina, South Carolina,
Virginia and
West
Virginia.
The Cardinal Council is affiliated with:

Nature Conservancy
The
Cardinal Council holds a spring meeting in March and a
fall meeting in September. For information, email us at

As a
member of the Garden Club of Kentucky and the National
Garden Club, the objectives of the Cardinal Council are:
To
promote interest in and knowledge of horticulture,
gardening, garden therapy, and youth gardening.
To
encourage beautification of home, community, and state.
To
encourage appreciation and conservation of wildflowers,
wildlife, forests, wilderness areas, and other natural
resources and cooperate with other agencies promoting
these interests.
